As promised, I am extremely happy.

So the interview at Hotel Planter couldn’t have gone better. The manager and owners are extremely nice and easy going. I start this Saturday.

It’s a tiny hotel and they only employ five or six people, so my job description isn’t specific. I’m going to be the desk clerk while cleaning and doing light maintenance. Tragically, I’m not 18 yet so I won’t be allowed to do overnight shifts. My hours are mostly weekends 9-5.

I’m relieved to once again have a “real” job. I’m much more comfortable with adults walking all over me, as opposed to children. Not that I encourage such trodding, but I’m certainly prepared to embrace it.
