Another cooking failure.

Tonight I made little shell pasta with rue sauce. The wheat flour in the rue camouflaged my sprinkles of garlic powder, so I ended up putting in too much. After a few bites (shudder) I threw it all out and brushed my teeth vigorously.
Pasta is empty calories, right? I still love it. I’d like to learn the different names of pastas. So far, I can successfully identify lasagna, spaghetti and linguine. Maybe next time I’m in Italy I’ll take a class or something. HA. Kidding. Victor, wipe that disgusted look off your face. Actually, I didn’t eat much pasta in Italy. Spaghetti is standard to menus but I honestly can’t stomach tomato sauce. I mostly just ate cheese pizza and chocolate gelato. Okay yeah, I know pizza has tomato sauce too, but it doesn’t envelope it in lukewarm chunky sliminess. Sounds pleasant? Uh no.
